ANNOUNCING our BIG Announcement!

::Tap Tap:: Is this mike on? Is anyone there? I have a really big announcement to make, and it's been awfully quiet on the comment front. Here it comes, are you ready?

The time has finally come....we are..........

MOVING!

HERE!

We are moving to this utterly adorably little house on August 1. Isn't it so cute? Doesn't my van look so at home and perfect there? Actually, I've already started moving stuff over there. I've been packing up here and there and cleaning. We're so excited to be part of a real neighborhood, and to have space.

Also, my kids deserve to have one of these! And this is a particularly large and deep tub, hooray.

And my kids deserve to have one of these. There is A LOT of room in this yard, which you can't fully see by the pic. Sooo excited to have somewhere to send them out to to play.

And I deserve THIS. An actual laundry room, with shelves, and storage (that you can't see) for year supply and pantry. I'm so excited. Moving is a pain and everything, but once we're in, it'll all be so worth it.
We have loved our apartment for these last 6 years. It's big and it's lovely inside. However, we have far outgrown it, and the need for space, yard, bathtub and just moving on is too great. We're excited to see what this new chapter in our life brings.
Anyone wanna come to our painting party? Gonna do it not next week (GREER) but the week after. Want to get everything painted and ready before the furniture comes in. It'll be real fun!
Also, I have decided to start teaching beginning piano, as well as voice. To fund this here move I'm increasing my studio. Sooooo, if anyone knows of people looking for a good teacher, just let me know.
Boxes and dust,
Allyson

Let me be the first, coming out of Amish week, to comment on this wonderful development in the VP life! Hallelujah! I can't believe you were in that apt for 6 years. Really? I still remember voice lessons at your parents' house. Don't forget Ben in the fall, for voice.
And as a comment on the second entry, Jere was fab on opening night, and, as a consummate professional, I'm sure he'll pull off Cogsworth tonight. Lily leaned over to me and asked if they'd gotten your permission for him to kiss the Wardrobe! So when you see her, make sure she knows you were aware!
We're leaving for ID in the am, so as much as my pregnant self would like to, I will have to pass on the painting. But I can't wait to see!

It is a marvelous house. Can't wait to come paint with you. Will any of this be going on in the evenings so I don't have to bring all three trouble-makers along with me? :)

I'm excited for the "dolling up" part of moving in. You know, making it cute and homey like you're so good at.

I love all the other random pictures from your other post. Max sleeping, Maggie in her bejeweled finery, and Dane's scared face. You're way better at taking pictures than I am. :)

Horray horray!!! Congratulations!! We're in a 3 room apartment temporarily right now, and even with the 3 of us I want to tear my hair out - moving to a house next week. It's just too fab - I can't believe you've been able to do 2 babies with no tub, you supermom!! Enjoy the laundry room!!!!!

This is so exciting! Are you buying or renting? Jere wasn't kidding when he said that book club would be in your new house! :)

I'm so happy to know that your children can have a contortionest free lifestyle. Fitting Mags into that kitchen sink could not have been healthy, or sanitary or remotely fun. Your little abode is heavenly. Good luck moving! And the minivan makes the house!

That is so fun! And yes, you deserve it all! I love that the backyard has all that grass and the concrete slab for bike riding. And it is a very cute house. I hope you have a fun time with your family in Greer. Can't wait to see pictures of your trip!

Yes, the house is adorable! What fun you will have with those babies in that house! And don't forget to get a sandbox, with a cover, so cats won't poop in it!
