Trouble in Shnozzaland

Dear Sinuses,

I would like to kindly request you pull it together so that I can have my life back again.

Sincerely,

Allyson
Owner of Shnozzaland (in all its sad glory)

This is a picture of about a 15 minute span. Kleenex is loving me and my broken sinuses right now. I however am NOT loving Kleenex.

It's called misery people, sheer misery. I am so ready for this pox upon me to be over. To be able to breathe, to not have pain when even thinking about my nose, to not have crusty sores where my nostrils once were and to be able to hear and not have my head hurt constantly.

I AM grateful for Claritan D, as it has made a marked improvement and the coughing has certainly lessened as well. But STILL, ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

I feel somewhat to blame for this plague. Sorry for sharing. It really is quite miserable. I hope at least that your kiddos are better.
Forgive us, we of the contamination clan!

I am sorry you are not feeling up to your normal self. All I can say is Afrin 12 hour non drip nose spray! It works wonders! Try it!

Yes, the Afrin works, but here is a natural series of remedies that have no side effects or after effects. 1)In tomato juice or warm water each morning, stir in 1/16 teas of cayenne pepper, and drink it fast. (Yes, it burns for a little afterward) 2)Take a ginger capsule with breakfast, or stir 1/4 teas. powdered ginger into 1 cup of warm water. 3) Just before you get in the shower, pour by teaspoon or snuff into each nostril, salt water saline (1 cup warm water and 1/4 teas. sea or regular salt). You can do the saline in the nostril all during the day. Blow the solution out gently. Netti pots are the best way to flush the nasel areas and prevent sinus infections. From experience, this works very well.

Oh man, I hope you feel better soon. That sucks! If the outside of your nose is raw, put some blistex on it. It instantly makes my nose feel better.

I second the Neti pot motion and I would add to it using Mucinex. It will dry you up, sister!

What I thought was allergies or a cold turned into a week long ordeal of sinus infections, bronchitis, viral infection, and the man staying home for 2 days. I do not envy you!
