Special Delivery

First things first...Emilyh was right. By not moving the picture you can TOTALLY click on it and look at it huge. UGH! This causes me some trouble, but at the same time, a good thing to know.
Anyway, the topic of this post is "special delivery". As you may note in the picture, it's that time of year, when I literally get giddy for the mail. Seriously, THIS is why I love the Christmas season. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to get Christmas letters and pictures in the mail. Well, I mean, let's face it, it is the ONE time of the year when there is something in your mailbox besides bills and credit card offers. There are actual letters, envelopes with handwritten names on them. Oh such fun and such joy. I can't WAIT to see pictures of my friends and their children, to see how they've grown and changed over the year. I can't WAIT to read what they've been up to over the past year, what accomplishments they've made, etc. I also totally love going to my parents and going through their letters from friends, 'cause they get them from all the people whose kids I grew up with. So, there are usually pics of them with all their kids and grandkids. That is so fun to see, don't you all agree? I must give a big fat kudos shoutout to all of you who are on the ball enough to have already sent yours out. I'm impressed by your promptness, and my happy heart and wall thank you. We still haven't even had a picture taken, so who knows what will happen. I WANT to do it, I really do, but man is it hard to coordinate a time. Plus, I'm so not in the picture taken mood these days, as I just feel like a super fatty fatterton and don't have any outfit cute enough to camoflouge myself. But, I haven't given up hope completely that we'll get something sent out. It may not make it 'til after Christmas, but it's always better late than never.
In an unrelated note, I'd like it stated on the record that I think I may have birthed a string bean. Seriously...he seems to just be getting longer and longer and not getting fatter. I'm pretty sure he's almost 3 feet tall by now. In fact, I went to put his pj's on him last night, and he's too long for them. His little legs were bent up and his feet were scrunched in the footy part. He's not even officially 2 months old and I've had to graduate him to the 3/6 month clothes. Let it be known that Maggie at this very same age was still wearing preemie clothes. She was wearing 3 month clothes until we was about 7 months old. You'd never know to look at her now, but I promise, she was a mini mite. Also, Max is such a mover and a shaker. He wiggles and wiggles and I'm fairly sure he'll roll over any time now. Maggie...I could have left her on the edge of a cliff for hours on end, and she would never have moved an inch. So interesting how different kids can be.
Alright then, I'm out, gotta post a pic in another post, and then think about my R.S. lesson for tomorrow. The lesson is on Unity, a little dry, but I'm sure I'll get something to work out.

So does this mean you're getting Christmas cards in your mailbox?? Cause other than Eric and Jody and Julie Jo.....I got NOTHING! Did everyone take the year off?
