Because they're funny

Ok, so I totally have like at least 3 other posts that should come before this, but this is a moment that I just have to sieze. Every Wed. I watch Dixies little girl Morgan, while Dixie goes to voice class. I also watch her the first Monday of each month so Dixie can go volunteer in Olivias class. Anyway, Morgan is 5 months younger than Brooklyn, and at least 5 feet shorter, but that's beside the point. This morning Morgan came to "Allysons school" (she wants to go to school so bad that Dixie convinced her that when she comes here, it's her school). So, some days the girls get along great and others they fight and cry the whole time. Today is one of those days that I just want to bottle up and sell to people. Or at the very least capture on video. The entire morning they've been "going to school." They'd just basically trapse back and forth from Maggies room to the family room, over and over, with an occasional stop in my room. Hey, when there are only 3 rooms to go into, what can you do? So, I was cleaning up, folding laundry, etc. when I happened to glance up at the girls. There they were with two of Maggies baby hats, and they were just blissfully going about their business. They'd taken over the pound puppies, hats and bags to make for stunning ensembles. I let them pass and giggled, then thought, this really should be documented for future reference. So, I stopped them in the kitchen and took a pic or two. And since then, they've all been back in Maggies room playing and playing, no cryiing, no fighting, just so happy with eachother. At one point I heard Brooklyn say..."hey, I have an idea, my dog..." well I didn't hear the rest, i was just amused by her having an idea. She's a smart little cookie, and talks well beyond her 2 and 1/2 years. So, there you have it, my morning, in a nutshell. I totally need to be writing out my grocery list, menu planning and going to the grocery store RIGHT now, but this seemed more urgent!

Good timing. Brooklyn JUST opened the door and told me that school was OVER. Guess it's time to get to work.

Peace out friends!

Well, if school is over then back to work mom! That is too hilarious. IT is always nice for me when mom's share what the girls are up to, a nice little break from death and violence! :)

Wow ! What a beautiful family you are growing! A boy and a girl..perfectly balanced. We are all well. Lincolns adoption went final in Nov. and we took him to the temple. Just surviving day to day caos with moments of joy that keep me going!

Well, what can I say, my little girl is seriously ADORABLE!!! Oh, and I guess Dixie's is cute, too. j/k That is the cutest little post and it makes me sad that I miss these sweet moments when I'm at work all day. You should document them more often for me. :)
