So....it's that time

Yeah, so tomorrow is my big fat birthday. I won't lie, I'm only slightly (read, A LOT) sad that last year on this very day, at this very time, I was in my van, with people I love and adore, toodling towards this place.

There was excitement and anticipation for this big day. I actually looked forward to my birthday. My entire family, sans one brother were there, plus several good friends. We stayed in a great little hotel for CHEAP thanks to Amy, and..

I got into the park for free, (and I was apparently still sporting newborn boobs and face chub) 'cause it was MY BIRTHDAY! It was so fun! So, so fun! Le Sigh, not this year. Nope, this year, I think the best I can muster is this:

A carousel ride with my sweet little bubbs.
Meh, birthdays are overrated anyway. Besides, I'm turning the unglamorous 37 anyway. SERIOUSLY, how can I be so old?
Birthday blahs,
Allyson

Thirty-seven . . . the year I had Hyrum. I have so many kids that I gauge my age by their births. Kinda weird. And you get to spend the whole entire day driving to and fro across our beautiful valley playing for peoples. So sorry. But happy bday!

Happy birthday! ENJOY every beautiful year you are given with your wonderful family and great friends! I never use to celebrate my birthday but now I make a HUGE deal out of enjoying the heck outta myself because it could all be gone tomorrow. Then I remembered if no one else did, I made the choice to be here and if nothing else, I was a child of God, a wife to the sweetest man and a mother to some wonderful kids. What else could possibly matter on my birthday??

Everything else good on that day is just a BONUS! Live it up girl.

Happy Birthday!!! May you dream of Mickey and Minnie serenading you with "It's a Small World". Or maybe screaming like MAD in Tower of Terror. I for one am VERY glad you were born.
