Attempting to show you Maggie

I know I say that Maggie sings all the time.  I know I say that she's loud as all get out.  I know I tell you that she screams like a demon and raises the dead, and some of you don't believe me.  And anyone that knows us in real life and has the "honor" of meeting Miss Sassypants, they don't believe me either.  Because my ridiculous, loud, dramatic daughter chooses to play mute when meeting people and stare at the ground.  Whilst I don't have any screaming video to show you, I DO have some very random and hilarious singing.

Tragically, Maggie has recently decided that naps are for pansies.  She pretty much refuses to snoozy snooze.  Instead, she plays, she sings, she imagines and plays.  Frankly, I'm fine with that AS LONG AS SHE KEEPS HER PERFECTLY PERKY BUM IN THE ROOM!  I shall change the name to "rest" time.  Anyway....today as I was blowing my hair dry in the hall bathroom, I happened to hear her singing at the top of her lungs the most random bits of things ever.  First she would "read" from some imaginary book and say something like "it says here everything is noted on Caillou" and then she would sing that phrase at full voice, in the same exact tune every time.  The best part was her use of "vibrato".  I was dying.

I had to super secretly try and record it, on my crappy phone, so I apologize for the bad quality.  Just turn it up and listen hard.

But first, before that.....a short video of the kids on a bikeride the other day.  I don't know what to say, other than Max pumping it on his tricycle in his denim jacket may be one of the damn cutest things EVER!  The entire walk over to gramma Dars I thought my heart might explode with love and happiness.

So, just take literally a MINUTE and watch these three.

Thanks for obliging me here on this.

All that matters here is, did you HEAR her sing "teach me a booger dance."  WHAT?  Killing me!

Yes, she sang "everything is noted on Caillou" or something like that.  Seriously, it was precious gems for sure.

One of these days I WILL get better quality bidness to show.  But, until then, hope you'll enjoy a small insight to our days.

Singing and sleeping,

Allyson

Booger Dance? Seriously? Tim Rice and Elton John need to be worried about their jobs, for sure!

Oh my freaking heck! I am literally peeing right now from Maggie's singing. That vibratto and the words. Classic! And can we just talk about her wonderful vowels? I mean, really, you should be so proud :)

Maggie's singing is awesome! You will be so glad you recorded that someday. She is hilarious. And a good singer! :)

That stinks about the ear infections and no insurance. I hope the rest of the year is healthy and cheap! We have insurance, but super high deductibles this year, so we're hoping no one gets sick, either!

So freaking funny! My sisters little girl makes up songs when she gets sent to her room. She'll make up songs about how unfair life is, how shes mad etc...she's only 6. Little girls and songs...ha!
